our philosophy

Chiropractic is founded on the principle that true health comes from within, and can enhance your body’s natural ability to adapt, heal, and move.

Chiropractic adjustments restore proper alignment and balance to the spine, so your entire body can function at its best.

Misalignments in the spine, called subluxations, interfere with the proper motion of your spine and disrupt the function of your nervous system and entire body. Your nervous system, which is made of your brain, spinal cord, and nerves, controls and coordinates every single muscle, tissue, organ, cell, and sensation in your body.

There are many different chiropractic techniques. As such Dr. Benjamin performs a thorough evaluation to determine which technique or combination of techniques would be most appropriate to use for each individual case. These techniques include:

  • Gonstead
  • Diversified
  • Thompson Drop Table
  • Activator
  • Flexion-Distraction
  • Toggle Recoil

Dr. Benjamin takes a whole body approach; so while he may stress the importance of osseous (bone) adjusting it is only part of the equation.

One of the other pillars of care is soft tissue care (muscle, ligaments, tendons). This includes Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), kinesiotaping, and electrical stimulation or e-stim. The third and final pillar of care is corrective exercises and/or stretches. These help to lock in the increased range of motion and function after the chiropractic adjustment.

Common conditions treated with chiropractic include:
  • Headaches/Migraines
  • Neck and Back pain
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Sports Injury
  • Pregnancy Discomforts
  • Kids’ Growing Pains
  • Shoulder Pain

  • Elbow Pain
  • Wrist Pain
  • Tingling/Numbness in the Arms/Legs
